MEETING DATE: March 25, 2019 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution 19-37, Authorize the Preparation of Plans <br />and Specifications, Well No. 1 Rehabilitation Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting Council authorization to prepare plans and specifications for the Well No. 1 <br />Rehabilitation Project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Well No. 1 has been identified by Public Works staff to be operating inefficiently, and in need of <br />equipment upgrades and repair. Funding for the project is proposed through the Water <br />Improvement Fund. WSB, the City Engineer for the City of Lino Lakes, has submitted a proposal <br />to complete the plans and specifications, and provide bid documents, for the not to exceed total cost <br />of $59,366.00, based on actual time spent on the project. <br />The proposed schedule for the City of Lino Lakes for this project is as follows: <br />City Council Authorizes Plans and Specifications <br />Approve Plans and Specifications, Authorize Ad for Bids <br />Open Bids <br />City Council Awards Contract <br />Construction Begins <br />Final Completion <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Mar. 25, 2019 <br />May 28, 2019 <br />June 18, 2019 <br />June 24, 2019 <br />July 15, 2019 <br />January 31, 2020 <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 19-37, Authorizing the Well No. 1 <br />Rehabilitation Project. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
