(92) Nonconforming Use - A use or activity which was lawful prior to <br />the adoption, revision or amendment of a zoning ordinance, but <br />which fails, by reason of such adoption, revision or amendment, <br />to conform to the present requirements of the zoning district. <br />(93) Nuisance - An interference with the enjoyment and use of <br />property. <br />(94) Office Building - A building used primarily for conducting the <br />affairs of a business, profession, service, industry or government, <br />or like activity, that may include ancillary services for office <br />workers such as a restaurant, coffee shop, newspaper or candy <br />stand. <br />(95) On -Street Parking Space - A temporary storage area for a motor <br />vehicle which is located on a dedicated street right-of-way. <br />(96) Open Space - Any parcel or area of land or water essentially <br />unimproved and set aside, dedicated, designated or reserved for <br />public or private use or enjoyment, or for the use and enjoyment <br />of owners and occupants of land adjoining or neighboring such <br />open space. <br />(97) Open Space, Private - Common open space held in private <br />ownership, the use of which is normally limited to the occupants <br />of a single dwelling or building. <br />(98) Open Space, Public - Open space owned by a public agency and <br />maintained by it for the use and enjoyment of the general public. <br />(99) Outdoor Storage - The keeping, in an unroofed area of any goods, <br />junk, material, merchandise, or vehicles in the same place for <br />more than twenty-four hours. <br />(100) Parcel - A separate area of land, including a lot, having specific w' <br />boundaries and capable of being conveyed and recorded. <br />(101) Parking Lot - An off-street, ground level area, usually surfaced <br />and improved, for the temporary storage of motor vehicles. <br />(102) Parking Space - A space for the parking of a motor vehicle — <br />within a public or private parking area. <br />(103) Party Wall - A common shared wall between two separate <br />structures, buildings, or dwelling units. <br />(104) Permitted Use - Any use allowed in a zoning district and subject <br />to the restrictions applicable to that zoning district. <br />(105) Planned Industrial Development - A planned development that <br />accommodates industrial uses. <br />(106) Planned Unit Development (PUD) - An area of a minimum <br />contiguous size, as specified by ordinance, to be planned and <br />
