<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-178 <br /> <br />APPROVING LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />AND AFSCME, LOCAL NO. 2454 FOR YEAR 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the American Federation of State, County, and <br />Municipal Employees, Local No. 2454, have reached a one-year agreement for 2020. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br /> <br />1. WAGES: 3% wage increase effective January 1, 2020 for all unit members. <br /> <br />2. HEALTH INSURANCE: The City saw a decrease this year and the union and City <br />shared in the decrease for 2020. All remaining provisions remain the same. <br /> <br />3. WORKERS COMPENSATION: Places a cap on what the City pays between an <br />employee’s gross salary and workers’ compensation payments at 90 days, which is <br />consistent with the City’s Personnel Policy. <br /> <br />4. PROBATIONARY PERIODS: Increases probationary periods from six months to one <br />year for all new hires. <br /> <br />5. STEP INCREASES: Step increases after six months of employment will be eliminated <br />for any new hires after January 1, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of December 2019. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_____________and was duly seconded by Council Member ___________ and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
