Planning & Zoning Board <br />June 10, 2020 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />Chair Tralle declared the Public Hearing open at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />There were no public comments. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 7:02 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Reinert made a MOTION to recommend approval of the conditional use permit and <br />site plan review for Laborer’s Training Center. Motion was supported by Mr. Root. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />B. Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes Addition PUD Final Plan/Final Plat <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen, City Planner, presented the staff report. <br /> <br />The applicant, Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes, LLC has submitted a land use application <br />for PUD Final Plan/Final Plat for development of Phase 1, the senior living community. <br />Future PUD Final Plans/Final Plats will be required for development of the future <br />commercial phases. <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the PUD Final Plan/Final Plat for Lyngblomsten at Lino <br />Lakes Addition. <br /> <br />Board Comments <br /> <br /> Mr. Evenson asked what the maximum height of the building can be. <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen explained the ordinance and resolution allow the greater of four stories or 45 <br />ft. plus the parapet. She further clarified a development could have four stories at 46.5 ft. <br />plus a 4 ft. parapet. <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson questioned if there is a maximum height of four stories. <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen stated there is no maximum height of four stories. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden commented he would prefer Lyngblomsten increase the size of the parapet. <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson and Mr. Reinert concurred with Mr. Laden’s statement. <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson specified he would prefer to see three color pallets on the exterior of the <br />townhomes instead of the two proposed color pallets in order to have more differentiation <br />in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson inquired if the future development of Outlot C would be reviewed by the <br />Planning and Zoning Board. <br />
