COUNCIL MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br />82 requesting approval of this resolution for five contracts related to improvements that will be funded <br />83 through CARES Act funds. Staff has determined that the projects meet the eligibility requirements. <br />84 He reviewed the projects that would be included. <br />85 Councilmember Stoesz noted the presence of the day care facility in the City all complex and <br />86 asked if that wing would be included in improvements. Mr. Williams confirmed that it would be <br />87 included. <br />88 Mayor Rafferty asked, regarding Fire Station No. 2, it is a new building anal he wonders if there is <br />89 anything such as residue from construction that could be taken from the duct system. Mr. Williams <br />90 explained that the opportunity to clean at the station was visited but it was not cost effective because <br />91 of the age of the building; it is a different situation for the recommended projects. <br />92 Councilmember Lyden wonders if there is any additional long term cost in running the new systems. <br />93 Mr. Williams replied that the systems are low consuming so no significant long term cost. <br />94 <br />95 Mayor Rafferty said he is thankful for the recommendations and is confident that the projects are a <br />96 good use of the CARES Act funding coming to the City. <br />97 <br />98 <br />99 <br />100 <br />Councilmember Stoesz asked for confirmation that closure of buildings wouldn't greatly impact the <br />public such as for the fall elections. <br />Councilmember Ruhland moved to approve Resolution No. 20-9Q as presented. Councilmember <br />Cavegn seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />101 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT <br />102 6A) Item 6A had been removed from the agenda by staff. <br />103 6B) Nadeau Acres. i. Consider Resolution No. 20-83, Approving Final Plat; ii. Consider <br />104 Resolution No. 20-84, Approving Development Agreement —City Planner Larsen reviewed a <br />105 PowerPoint presentation that included information on the following: <br />106 - Final Plat is presented and should substantially conform to the previously approved preliminary <br />107 plat; <br />108 - Site Location Map; <br />109 - Previous Council Actions (preliminary plat, rezoning); <br />110 - Preliminary compared to Final Plat (consistent); <br />111 - Neighbor concerns are addressed; <br />112 - Public Land Dedication; <br />113 - Findings of Fact; <br />114 - Planning Zoning Board approval; <br />115 - Requested council action. <br />116 Mayor Rafferty remarked that the easement will provide for a future trail. <br />117 <br />118 Councilmember Stoesz asked where the house on Lot 17 will be. Ms. Larsen said it will be located <br />119 north of the easement and it meets all City requirements. <br />3 <br />
