COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> APPROVED <br /> 42 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 43 3A) Consider Approval of Assignment and Assumption of Lease — New Creations — City <br /> 44 Administrator Cotton explained that staff is presenting a lease change to the City ' s tenants, New <br /> 45 Creations Childcare . The company is transitioning and this change in the lease relates to that <br /> 46 change from one entity to a new one . There is no change in the terms of the lease . <br /> 47 Councilmember Cavegn moved to approve the assignment and assumption of the lease as <br /> 48 recommended . Councilmember Ruhland seconded the motion. Sawyer said staff doesn' t have enough information at this time to know. The policy is <br /> 57 something quite common at this time . <br /> 58 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the policy as recommended . Councilmember Stoesz <br /> 59 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote . <br /> 60 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 61 4A) Consider Approval of Prosecution Contract for Services — Public Safety Director <br /> 62 Swenson reported that staff is requesting approval of a new contract with the current provider of <br /> 63 prosecution services to the City. He noted the basic terms of the proposed contract (including a <br /> 64 slight increase in cost) . Staff recommends approval . <br /> 65 Councilmember Stoesz asked how many individuals of the firm are available to the City for <br /> 66 services . Director Swenson noted two attorneys and an administrative professional . <br /> 67 Councilmember Cavegn asked how many hours per month (estimate) are provided and Director <br /> 68 Swenson reviewed the type of services provided . <br /> 69 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve contract as presented . Councilmember Stoesz seconded <br /> 70 the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote . <br /> 71 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 72 5A) Oaks of Lino Park Property : i) Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No . 01 -21 , <br /> 73 Vacating Oaks of Lino Park Property — City Engineer Hankee reviewed the written report <br /> 74 recommending that the council proceed with the vacation of land at Oaks of Lino Park. The matter <br /> 75 was discussed when the ordinance had its first reading at the last council meeting . Mayor Rafferty <br /> 76 noted his comfort with the sale ; the Park Board has sent this forward . <br /> 77 Councilmember Ruhland moved to waive full reading of the ordinance as presented . <br /> 78 Councilmember Lyden seconded the motion.
