Park Board <br /> October 3 , 1983 <br /> page two - <br /> by Mr. R. Johnson . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> WEBER SUBDIVISION <br /> This was presented to the Park Board in reference to Park dedication . Mr. <br /> Weber is splitting a small parcel of land to')be d .vided into three lots <br /> along the street that enters Shenandoah II. He is undecided at this time <br /> whether it will be sold as one parcel or if he will go through the platting <br /> procedure . Mr. Weber pointed out there is a low area that he would want <br /> to make sure never was filled. It was generally felt this is a P& Z concern . <br /> Mr. R. Johnson moved to accept money in leiu of land for this subdivision . <br /> Seconded by Mr. ARntzen . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> FENCING BIDS - LINO PARK - ARENA ACRES <br /> The fencing in Lino Park is for the Sounth and East boundaries . Mr. Volk <br /> recommended that no fencing be installed on the East side at this time . The <br /> area is wooded and if a problem should develop, consider fencing at that time . <br /> Since this is not a budgeted item, the coneral consesus . of the Park Board was <br /> that the cost should be Caked from dedicated funds . The fencing will be <br /> installed by City Crews at Lino Park by the fencing company will install the <br /> fence at the tennis courts in Arena Acres due to the height of the fence <br /> and the special tools need for the installation of this type of fencing. <br /> Mr.. R;johnson moved to recommend approval of Century Fencing for Lino Park . <br /> Seconded by Mr. Arntzen . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Mr. Volk recommended the nets and net poles be included in the bid for the <br /> tennis courts . <br /> Mr. R. Johnson moved to recomend approval of the Centruy bid for the tennis <br /> Courts in Arena Acres to include the nets and the net poles and to be installed <br /> by that company . Seconded by Mr. Lindy . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> RICE LAKB ESTATES PLAT <br /> Mr . K. Johnson noted this has been reviewed and the Park Board has made their <br /> recommendations - why is this on the agenda? <br /> Mr. Volk noted this is the final plat and is merely for their review. <br /> Mr. K. Johnson asked if there had been any changes ? shouldn ' t the areas on <br /> this plat designated as 'parks ' be outlots ? The members agreed with this <br /> concept. <br /> There was discussion on the inpact this development would have on Baldwin <br /> Park in Circle Pines . The general consesnsu of the Board members was that the <br /> principle users of Sunrise Park in Lino Lakes are residents of Circle Pines . <br /> They felt that the parks are to be used by the people no matter where they <br /> live. <br /> There was also discussion on the need to provide a trail to connect with <br /> Baldwin Park. It was suggested that either invite someone from the Circle <br />
