SEPTEMBER 15, 1975 <br /> -4- <br /> Further discussion followed and Mr. Resch made a motion to recommend <br /> to the City Council that formal specifications be prepared, using the <br /> bid presented tonight with the understanding that bids be advertised <br /> for as soon as possible. Mr. McGeary seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> Mr. Resch asked If the Lino Athletic Association could have permission <br /> to use the lights that were Installed on the Nall for football practice <br /> this fail. Mr. McLean asked who would be responsible to see that the <br /> iights were turned on and off and Mr. Resch said that he would Assume <br /> the responsibility. <br /> Mr. Karth moved to recommend to the Cith Council that Mr. Resch be <br /> authorized to have the key to the lights and to have the responsibility <br /> of turning the lights on and off as required by the Lino Athletic Association <br /> for football practice. Mr. McGeary seconded irhe motion. Motion passed. <br /> Mr. Karth questioned the easement held by NSP underneath the power lines <br /> that go across Lino Park - does anyone know exactly what their easement <br /> right are 7 He is thinking of future development of that park and because <br /> of the location of the power lines felt that a tennis court or possibly <br /> two would be the only feasible thing to put In there. <br /> n Mr. McLean said that this would go along with the Long Range Planning and <br /> to start thinking of what this City will need in the future. <br /> The Park Commission decelded to hold a special meeting, Monday, September <br /> 29, 1975 for the purpose of discussing the DuJq;-t 4,or 1976. Ali members <br /> present .agreed on this and the Clerk was a5Y o -;-o send notices next <br /> week reminding the Park Commission of ;his spy -cS-1 mr-9•1-Ing. <br /> Mrs. LeTourneav moved to adjourn at 9:45 PM, i•ir, Kl!-th seconded the motion. <br /> AYE. <br />
