needed some new consideration for wording. <br /> There was a motion to authorize Marty Asleson to spend up to <br /> $1000 for the Little League irrigation project at Sunrise Park, <br /> consistent with the intent of the designated donation, and upon <br /> approval by the Park Board. Notion Approved. Pat Mahr needs to <br /> be contacted for the proper name of the Little League <br /> organization for the recognition plaque. The Plaque should read, <br /> "Friends of the Parks Thanks , for , <br /> donated by The plaque should contain the Logo. <br /> There was a Notion: To allow City Staff to expend up to $30/ <br /> plaque for up to 3 plaques for the present park donations, <br /> contingent on funds to cover this project. <br /> Mugs and T-shirts were discussed. Mark Urich is working on the <br /> logo. Marty reported that Jane Lutz with the Rice Lake <br /> Elementary SNAC group is organizing an environmental art contest <br /> with the children at the school. Perhaps some of the art could <br /> be used for shirts or other marketing and fund raising ideas. <br /> Marty will talk to Jane and report back. <br /> New Business <br /> Moline Concrete has shown interest in donations. Diane Jensen <br /> volunteered to attend a breakfast meeting with Marty, Jacquelyne, <br /> Joe, and Georgia, on the 28th. of September to discuss approach <br /> techniques. <br /> A donation was accepted from Ace Solid Waste for $650. these <br /> monies are to be used for the new neighborhood park requests that <br /> would be used on a cost-match basis. It was further requested <br /> that $100 of this money be used exclusively for the SNAC program <br /> at Rice Lake Elementary Park. <br /> A Motion was made to adjourn the meeting and the next meeting <br /> date set for Tuesday, October 18, 7:00 at City Hall. Motion was <br /> approved. <br />
