Steve Michaud +
FROM: Bob Kirmis/Alan Brixius
DATE: 22 June 1992
RE: Lakeville - Trail Fees
FILE NO: 336.00 - 92.10
At your request, we have proceeded to measure the length (in linear
feet) of all projected trail corridors within the City as well as
those which specifically lie within the 2010 MUSA. From such
information, we have determined trail costs per projected household
for both the 2010 MUSA area and the balance of the City. It should
be recognized that the trail Casts are only applicable to new
households within the said areas.
HOUSEHOLD DISTRIBUTION
To determine trail costs for both the 2010 MUSA area and the area
outside the MUSA by household, it is necessary to calculate the
number of additional households expected in these areas. Costs for
new trails will apply only to newly created households.
HOUSEHOLD DISTRIBUTION
Ultimate Development
1990 Total Ne
2010 MUSA 6, 787 29, 778 22, 991
Outside 2010 MUSA 1, 056 22,427 21, 371
Total 7, 843 52,205 44, 362
As shown above, the City of Lakeville is expected to ultimately
hold 52,205 households. The existinj 2010 MUSA is expected to add
22, 991 new households to its existing base of 6, 787. The balance
of the City is expected to accommodate an additional 21,371 households.
5775 Wayzata Blvd.- Suite 555 • St. Louis Park, MN 55416 - (612) 595-9636-Fax. 595-9837
