Educating Developers <br /> Dave Stevenson from the Department of Agriculture described <br /> what Oak Wilt is, how the disease progresses, and how <br /> vibratory plowing works. <br /> Mr. Stevenson suggested possibly utilizing tree control by <br /> the Developer by incorporating this in our Developers <br /> Ordinance. <br /> Mr. Stevenson also stressed the importance of treating the <br /> area before homes are built , and utilities installed. <br /> Janette Monear, Anoka County Oak Wilt Representative, passed <br /> out packets on Oak Wilt . She offered her assistance with <br /> Arbor Day. <br /> Mike Hoffman stated that the Tree City USA Application has <br /> been approved by The DNR - Div. of Forestry and has been <br /> forwarded to the National Tree City USA Committee for final <br /> approval . <br /> Mike suggested scheduling a work session just on Forestry <br /> Page 2 <br /> t. <br />
