PARK BOARD MINUTES
JANUARY 4, 1989
r
This issue will be discussed further at the February Park
Board meeting.
New Business
Chairman Ray Johnson asked about the possible assessment for
Sunrise Park. When the trunk sewer and watermain runs along
second avenue it will run through the northeast section of
the park. The board discussed the advantages to having city
sewer and water. The water demand is there.
Don Volk will work with the city engineer as to the cost of
utilities at Sunrise Park.
Don Volk talked with Susie Arnet from the Greater Centennial
Park and Recreation Program .
She has concerns about funding from Lino Lakes. Staff
informed her that the Lino Lakes City Council is in support
of the project . However, until exact funding amounts are
established for every government entity involved they would
not establish any specific funding amounts. Also, Lino Lakes
r concerns will have to be addressed about fair funding amounts
being established by all .
The next meeting of the Greater Centennial Park and
Recreation Planning Committee will be 5: 30 p.m. , January 19,
1989, at the Dist . *12 Board room.
Don Volk informed the park board of a new policy at city
hall. Agendas for all Council and board meetings will be
mailed to all boardmembers.
Chairman Ray Johnson moved to adjourn the meeting.
9: 03 p.m. meeting adjourned.
5
