PARK BOARD MINUTES <br /> JANUARY 4, 1989 <br /> r <br /> This issue will be discussed further at the February Park <br /> Board meeting. <br /> New Business <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson asked about the possible assessment for <br /> Sunrise Park. When the trunk sewer and watermain runs along <br /> second avenue it will run through the northeast section of <br /> the park. The board discussed the advantages to having city <br /> sewer and water. The water demand is there. <br /> Don Volk will work with the city engineer as to the cost of <br /> utilities at Sunrise Park. <br /> Don Volk talked with Susie Arnet from the Greater Centennial <br /> Park and Recreation Program . <br /> She has concerns about funding from Lino Lakes. Staff <br /> informed her that the Lino Lakes City Council is in support <br /> of the project . However, until exact funding amounts are <br /> established for every government entity involved they would <br /> not establish any specific funding amounts. Also, Lino Lakes <br /> r concerns will have to be addressed about fair funding amounts <br /> being established by all . <br /> The next meeting of the Greater Centennial Park and <br /> Recreation Planning Committee will be 5: 30 p.m. , January 19, <br /> 1989, at the Dist . *12 Board room. <br /> Don Volk informed the park board of a new policy at city <br /> hall. Agendas for all Council and board meetings will be <br /> mailed to all boardmembers. <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson moved to adjourn the meeting. <br /> 9: 03 p.m. meeting adjourned. <br /> 5 <br />
