PARK BOARD MINUTES October 3 , 1988
The Park Board would like to see this put to use as a Park
Board Policy Guide, not as a City Ordinance.
7: 45 p.m. Harold Bisel joined the meeting.
Recommended Action: Bill Nisssen will meet with City Staff,
formalizing this letter and putting it into action
THANK YOU BILL!
WOODRIDGE ESTATES/RICH GRAY
Rich presented a colorful and well planned park proposal
showing both park land and future trail systems. The trail
system could be installed two different ways, either off the
road trails, or a trail next to the road.
The Trails would be 8 feet wide, which is a nice width for a
two way bike path.
Rich presented an over-all trail system layout showing how
the trails could interconnect with other developments, other
.-. trail systems.
Rich Gray will meet with the developer to discuss this park
layout .
GM DEVELOPMENT - FINAL PARK PLAN UPDATE/SOUTH RESHANAU LAKE
ESTATES
A letter dated September 9, 1988 was sent from Gary Uhde
expressing the agreement made between GM Development and
Parks Board, to accept the park land as noted on the final
plat for the total dedication for the 80 acres with the
following conditions:
1) Developer will work with City staff in coordina-
tion and lay out of final walkway design.
2) Developer will subcut a walkway 8' wide and cover
with crushed class 2 or 5 limestone as outlined
on Exhibit A or redesigned by Developer and City
staff.
3) Area of walkway on west end of pond and through
park up to the 20' easement would be deleted.
This area is outlined on Exhibit A.
Page 3
