LINO LAKES PARR BOARD
WORK SESSION
THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 1993
park of approximately 10 acres in this area. There was some
discussion of asking for a cash dedication and using those monies
to pursue the purchase of property here from the School District if
they are indeed in the market of selling at this time. School
District 112 owns approximately 40 acres here. A suggestion was
made that perhaps Mr. Vaughan should purchase property from the
School District and turn it over to the City for park dedication.
Marty Asleson will contact the School District before the next
meeting to seek information on the possibility of their selling
desireable property as identified in the Comprehensive Plan.
Both Don Volk and Marty Asleson reminded the board that Mr. Vaughan
may not come to the next park board meeting with a new proposal,
and this meeting was merely to keep the board apprised of the most
recent events as this development proceeds into it's next phase of
development and construction.
Time did not allow for further discussion. The meeting ended at
6:30 pm.
Ref;PWM93
2
