Star of the North State Games/MRPA Partnership <br /> 000*N Background Information <br /> Who/What The Star of the North State Games and the MRPA <br /> have formed an alliance to mutually promote <br /> health, fitness and good sportsmanship through <br /> existing programs and new projects. <br /> When The partnership begins in 1993 and includes <br /> events and activities sponsored by both <br /> organizations. <br /> General Promotion The Star of the North State Games and MRPA <br /> will assist each other in marketing and <br /> promoting projects, programs and activities <br /> which address mutual interests through the <br /> following methods: <br /> 1. All existing channels of communication. <br /> 2. Presentations, media kits, news releases <br /> and articles. <br /> 3. Various publications, including posters, <br /> brochures, handbooks, newsletters and <br /> "„ON other selected promotional materials. <br /> 4. Clinics, workshops and conferences. <br /> Special Events The Star of the North State Games will conduct <br /> its 1993 Winter Games in Red Wing (Jan. 15-24) <br /> and its 1993 Summer Games in the Twin Cities <br /> north metro communities of Blaine, Circle <br /> Pines, Fridley, Mounds View, New Brighton and <br /> Spring Lakes Park (June 25-27) . <br /> The MRPA and Star of the North State Games <br /> will jointly administer the 10,000 Lakes <br /> Classic adult softball tournament in the Twin <br /> Cities north metro area on June 12-13.
