Roessler is willing to work with the residents to satisfy <br /> them as property owners. <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson called for the motion to be ordered and <br /> Ken Johnson seconded the motion and the motion was carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Park Board decided they would like the City Planner to have <br /> information regarding what they would like to see' <br /> Recommendations to the Planner are as follows: <br /> * Park Board wants money for the swap compensated <br /> to the land they' re losing. <br /> * Receive money for dedication <br /> The Park Board started talking about figures of money they <br /> wanted. $10, 000 would be a nice figure to start at. Ken <br /> Johnson said we should start at $15, 000 and negotiate final <br /> grading and seeding. Also, shrubs and trees should be <br /> included in the negotiation. Ray Johnson wants the Park <br /> Board to plant their own trees and shrubs, and he prefers <br /> that they should be the ones to dress the park up. The <br /> exchange of value the Park Board wants is a cash figure and <br /> possibly more. <br /> MINAR SUBDIVISION: 5 Acre Split - Ms. Minar would like to <br /> subdivide another parcel of her land and give it to her <br /> daughter. <br /> Ray Johnson refered to a memo dated April 7, 1981; Mrs. <br /> Minar paid $750. 00 park dedication fee back then, and <br /> $100. 00 was refunded to her for a total of $650. 00 actual <br /> park dedication. <br /> The Park Board said the City Ordinance reads $160. 00 per <br /> unit . Chairman Johnson said, Mrs. Minar should pay an <br /> additional park dedication at the time the Building Permit <br /> is purchased. <br /> MOTION: Ken Johnson moved to accept a cash fee for the <br /> Helen Minar subdivision split. Candy Toffoli seconded the <br /> motion and the motion was carried unanimously. <br /> 1987 BUDGET: Don Volk started explaining the cuts being <br /> proposed. Ken Johnson was contacted regarding these cuts <br /> and ongoing negotiations. Discussion was made regarding the <br /> tremendous cut out of general fund dollars. Ray Johnson <br /> wanted to know why the Park Board has to run on dedicated <br /> funds. Don Volk commented that all departments have cuts to <br /> the original proposed budget. $180, 000. 00 out of the total <br /> City Budget was cut. <br />
