rM ' <br /> Don directed comment to Park Board: Drafting a letter to <br /> the Counicl feeling of needs for parks. Their needs are <br /> being washed out. Harold Bisel suggested the Park Board <br /> come before the Council and be part of the agenda. Ray <br /> Johnson was concerned with the proposed budget cuts. Mr. <br /> Bisel will suggest to Council that the Park Board is <br /> concerned with these cuts and would like to address the <br /> Council . <br /> NO MOTION WAS MADE <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN: Don Volk got the grading plan <br /> back and wants the Park Board to review it . This will be <br /> back for consideration. The Shenandoah Park ice rink is <br /> presently being constructed, but will only be a pleasure <br /> rink this year. Hopefully it will be a 1st class rink by <br /> the fall of 1988, which will include a warming house at that <br /> time. We are still in the process of looking for a well . <br /> There was some talk regarding a rural water type system <br /> being brought into our park. <br /> BMX: The City of Lino Lakes owns the lighting from the BMX <br /> track. We will be removing the poles this year and we have <br /> to replace the bulbs . There are a total of seven poles and <br /> six of them are needed for the tennis courts . Don Volk is <br /> getting estimates on getting power installed in the shed. <br /> ETC: Ray Johnson brought up the Baldwin Trailer Court issue <br /> of not having a Tot Lot in there. Don Volk said there is a <br /> swing set in there. Don suggested putting pressure on the <br /> owner of Baldwin Trailer Court . We must have a follow-up <br /> system that we can work with. <br /> COUNTRY LAKES PARK: General discussion on Country Lakes Park <br /> funding.
