Mr. Roessler is proposing a trade for the parcel of LaMotte <br /> Park and in return give part of their subdivision for Park. <br /> Kent Roessler said, the subdivision would lay out a lot <br /> nicer if they had a portion of LaMotte. The trade taking <br /> place would consist of Roessler taking 1/3 of an acre from <br /> LaMotte Park and giving in return 1/4 of an acre. Of course <br /> the people would have their say when it comes time for a <br /> public hearing. <br /> ITEMS DISCUSSED WERE: <br /> * The depth of Lamotte Drive and further back <br /> ( 150 ft . ) <br /> * Paying for park dedication fee <br /> * Going back to original dedication & making <br /> a swap with those people <br /> * What the deed says; whether land goes back to <br /> original owner <br /> * Putting a Tot Lot in park would benefit <br /> Lino Lakes <br /> * If swap is possible - public hearing would be <br /> neccessary because of New City Charter <br /> * Check to see if this swap of land is legal with <br /> City Attorney <br /> Mr. Roessler summed it up by stating the subdivision would <br /> be a nicer development with upper bracket homes . There also <br /> would be a monument at the entrance of the park, dressing it <br /> up some . <br /> MOTION: Chairman Ray Johnson moved to recommend to Council <br /> the trade of property between Mr. Roessler and the City. <br /> Ken Johnson seconded the motion which carried unanimously. <br /> BUDGET <br /> Mr. Schumacher presented the 1988 budget , and the five year <br /> capitol improvements programs . He also updated the Board on <br /> the 1987 CIP and explained the difference between the <br /> funding of the Park Department . <br /> CAPITOL OUTLAY: Proposed 28, 000 for the 1988 CIP, Turf <br /> Mower $15 , 000 and a York Rake $1 , 200 . <br /> Chairman Johnson refered to the Prachar property. He noted <br /> that Mr. Volk was to have the selling price of another- piece <br /> of property recently sold by . Mr. Prachar .
