Mr. Volk answered that the Forestry
program was small and not supported by $1 per capita .
Chairman Johnson reiterated that the Park Board would need from
Mr. Volk by next meeting - cost figures to maintain Country Lakes
Park and a draft of 5 year capital improvements plan , so that
the Board could review these items before budget time .
Ray Johnson asked that it be reported to Council that he has re-
quested that the Police Department try to enforce the park
rules within the City as well as their other duties . He noted
that recently he had reported to the Police Department that some-
one was parking overnight at one of the parks and the Police De-
partment took care of this problem. Mr. Johnson felt , however ,
that the Police Department should keep their eyes open to enforce
the park rules .
The meeting adjourned at 8 : 45 P.M.
