City of Lino Lakes <br /> Park Board Meeting <br /> July 6, 1999 <br /> n <br /> Rick continued stating it is possible to proceed with the survey <br /> and a mini master plan. If funds become available a play <br /> structure might be installed. The Park Board determines if it is <br /> feasible to spend the money which is dependent on funds and the <br /> residents needs . <br /> Ms . Roland thanked the Park Board for their time. <br /> It was the consensus of the Park Board to direct Rick to proceed <br /> with the survey to all residents in the LaMotte Park area. Rick <br /> added he will proceed with a mini master plan after the surveys <br /> are received. <br /> DEVELOPMENT OF BEHM'S CENTURY FARM PARK: <br /> The first reading of Ordinance No. 16 - 99, Sale of City <br /> Property, Behm' s Century Farm Park was presented and passed <br /> unanimously at the June 28, 1999, Council meeting. The second <br /> reading is scheduled for the July 12, 1999, Council meeting, and <br /> if approved, goes into effect 30 days from publication. <br /> The purchase agreement calls for selling 2 . 55 acres of park land <br /> in exchange for development of the remaining six acres. This <br /> agreement includes clearing and grubbing, grading, four inches of <br /> topsoil import, seeding, and construction of trail including <br /> engineering, four inch sub-base and two inch bituminous . Mr. <br /> Uhde has agreed to provide a summary of development costs . If <br /> costs total less than $75, 000, the difference will be paid in <br /> cash. <br /> Rick referred to the final concept plan noting the eastern trail <br /> is located within a 50' wide strip of park land leading to <br /> Mustang Lane. With the Park Boards approval, he asked to begin <br /> the process to install playground equipment later this fall with <br /> Park Dedication Funds that were received from the Behm' s Century <br /> Farm Development . <br /> Chair Lindy asked about the 50' wide easement . Rick advised the <br /> 50' wide strip leading to Mustang Lane is park land. <br /> Pat asked if a bridge or culvert will be put over the ditch. <br /> Rick advised the trail located in the northwestern part of the <br /> park will not be put in at this time . <br /> Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Joe Boyle, to proceed <br /> with the process to install playground equipment in the amount of <br /> 5 <br />
