COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 22, 1999 <br /> n COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> Consideration of Amendment to the Livable Communities Demonstration Account <br /> Contract, Mary Alice Divine -Ms. Divine stated the Metropolitan Council has agreed to amend <br /> the Lino Lakes Livable Communities Demonstration Account Contract to allow travel expenses <br /> because the purpose of the funding was to work with the national experts who are based in <br /> California. <br /> Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the Amendment to the Livable Communities <br /> Demonstration Account Contract. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br /> with Council Members Dahl and Lyden voting no. <br /> Molin Concrete, 415 Lilac,Amended Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review,Mary <br /> Kay Wyland - Ms. Wyland stated that Molin Concrete is requesting an Amended Conditional <br /> Use Permit and Site Plan Review to allow the construction of a 30 x 80"Iunchroom/break room <br /> addition to the northwest side of their new batch plant located4t 415 Lilac Street. <br /> Ms. Wyland noted the Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on February 10, 1999, <br /> and recommended approval of this Amended Conditional Use;Permit and Site Plan Review with <br /> conditions. <br /> Council Member Lyden moved to approve the Amended:Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan <br /> Review based on the following conditions: <br /> 1. Proper building permits are obtained for all construction. <br /> 2. Conditions approved with previous amendments shall remain in effect. <br /> Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Lino Lakes Elementary,7z5 Main Street,Amended Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan <br /> Review,Mary Kay Wylan Wyland stated KKE Architects, on behalf of the Lino Lakes <br /> Elementary School;`is as it or an Amended Condition Use Permit and Site Plan Review to <br /> allow expansion of the:school facility. <br /> Ms. Wyland noted the Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on February 10, 1999, <br /> and recommended approval of this Amended Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review with <br /> conditions. <br /> Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the Amended Conditional Use Permit and Site <br /> Plan Review based on the following: <br /> 1. Proper building permits are obtained prior to construction and reviewed by both the <br /> Building Inspection Department and the Fire Chief. The building permit shall include an <br /> escrow deposit of 1% of the construction costs to insure completion of all site <br /> improvements. <br /> 3 <br />
