A few assignments were left 60 <br />open pending arrival of the newest member of the council. Based on direction, he is forwarding the 61 <br />following appointments: 62 <br />Joint Law Enforcement Council – Tony Cavegn 63 <br />North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Alternate, Tony Cavegn 64 <br />Anoka County Fire Protection Council – Rob Rafferty (alternate). 65 <br />Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the appointments as presented. Councilmember Stoesz 66 <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote 67 <br />PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 68 <br />There was no report from the Public Safety Department. 69 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 70 <br />5A) Consider Approval of Resolution No. 20-15, Accepting bids and Awarding a 71 <br />Construction Contract, Well House No. 1 Rehabilitation Project – City Engineer Hankee noted that 72 <br />Justin Williams, Utility Supervisor, was also present to answer questions on this project. Ms. 73 <br />Hankee explained the elements proposed for this project. Staff is not recommending approval of the 74 <br />bid alternate for exterior concrete/asphalt. 75 <br />Councilmember Lyden remarked that the cost of this project is enormous. He has looked at 76 <br />individual elements (noting skylight) and they are very high. For four windows, the cost is $40,000. 77
