3 <br /> <br />Drinking Water Protection <br /> <br />The site is not within in the Drinking Water Supply Management Area (DWSMA). <br /> <br />PROPOSED CONDITIONS <br /> <br />A majority of the site is in floodplain and mitigation will be utilized for stormwater <br />management (lakes and ponds), creation of a multi-functional greenway system (parks <br />and trails) and providing fill for house pads, streets and other upland areas. <br /> <br />Single family detached home neighborhoods are located in the northwest section and <br />southeast quadrant of the site. The townhome neighborhood is centrally located on the <br />east side. A gated multi-family rental neighborhood and clubhouse are located in the <br />northeast quadrant of the site. Trails, sidewalks, stormwater ponds and lakes are included <br />throughout the development. <br /> <br />Environmental Assessment Worksheet <br /> <br />Completion of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) is required for this <br />project. The requirement is based upon the calculation below. <br /> <br /> <br />Information required in the EAW includes: <br /> <br />• cover types, geology, soils, and topography <br />• permits and approvals required <br />• surface water features and impacts, groundwater, wells, and location of impaired <br />waters within a mile of project <br />• wetlands, wetland impacts, and potential delineation requirement <br />• wastewater management <br />• stormwater: erosion and sediment control, NPDES permit required, Stormwater <br />Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) <br />• water appropriation, including potential DNR appropriation permit <br />• shoreland and floodplain ordinance compliance
