27 of the removals are in Basic Use Area, and non -environmentally sensitive areas. These removals will not require mitigation trees. The other 6 removals are in Basic Use Area and Natural Resource Protected Area. These trees require 1 mitigation tree for every 2 trees removed. In this case, three of these trees are undesirable, due to being in poor condition or being an invasive species. The other 3 trees require mitigation at the rate of 1 mitigation tree per 2 trees removed, resulting in 2 mitigation trees being required for the project. The 2 green ash (T1040 and T1041) should be added to the removals list. Any trees to be preserved must be protected as described in the Tree Protection Fence Detail.
