Wsb <br /> April 14, 2022 <br /> Mr. Justin Williams <br /> Public Works Superintendent <br /> City of Champlin <br /> 600 Town Center Pkwy <br /> Lino Lakes, MN 55014-1182 <br /> Re: Proposal for Construction Phase Services <br /> Water Tower Rehabilitation No. 2 <br /> City of Lino Lakes, MN <br /> Dear Mr. Williams, <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to submit this letter proposal to the City of Lino Lakes to <br /> provide construction administration, full-time construction observation services, and <br /> post construction services for the rehabilitation of the City's Water Tower No. 2 <br /> Rehabilitation. WSB will provide all construction administration and KLM will work as a <br /> subconsultant to WSB and provide the construction observation and a post construction <br /> 2-year warranty inspection of the tower. <br /> Construction Services <br /> We will provide the following construction phase services for this project: <br /> a) Print and distribute construction contracts to Owner and Contractor. <br /> b) Coordinate and attend a preconstruction meeting with the Contractor. <br /> c) Provide full-time construction observation and determine if the work is <br /> proceeding in general accordance with the Contract Documents and AWWA <br /> standards. Inspection time includes full-time construction observation for a <br /> duration of 12 weeks. The NACE certified inspector will primarily focus on areas <br /> of abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and documentation of environmental <br /> (temperature, relative humidity, etc.) to verify that adequate conditions are <br /> present for work to proceed. <br /> d) Provide daily construction administration and correspondence with the <br /> Contractor. <br /> e) Maintain job site files for shop drawings, correspondence, field inspection <br /> reports, construction photographs, field orders, change orders, etc. <br /> Review the Contractor's applications for payments with the Engineer. <br /> g) Coordinate and manage on-site meetings with the City and the Contractor to <br /> discuss progress. <br />
