DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
July 11, 1990
the approved preliminary plat. This should allay any fears
council members may have about housing quality.
Without the rezoning a variance would be required for lot
size as they do not cover an area of 12,825 square feet.
The board felt that by issuing a variance in this instance
would be setting precedence.
Mr. Chase added that the problem is economic to Mr. Carlson.
Mr. Chase felt that other things could be completed to this
plat to eliminate the need for a variance consisting of this
many lots. The design review board has to look at approval
on the basis that the applicant meets the six findings of
fact.
MOTION: Mr. King moved to recommend to the city council
denial of the variance request, Application #90 -31 for
PineRidge Subdivision. The design review board cannot find
that this application meets the six findings of fact. John
Bergeson seconded the motion and the motion was approved
unanimously.
MOTION: Mr. King moved that the city council reconsider and
approve the Rezoning Application #90 -14 for PineRidge
