DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br />July 11, 1990 <br />Subdivision from R -1X to R -1 in order to make these lots <br />conform to city code. John Bergeson seconded the motion and <br />the motion was approved unanimously. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR ROGER AND SYLVIA KOLSTAD, APPLICATION <br />190 -25. <br />The Applicant owns two properties in the northern part of <br />Lino Lakes at the corner of 4th Avenue and Pine Street. <br />They wish to sell some of their land as a building site. <br />However, because of the wetlands and the location of their <br />residence, the only buildable site is near the intersection <br />of 4th Avenue and Pine Street. <br />The Kolstads are asking that the north -south division of <br />their property be changed to an east -west division. <br />MOTION: Mr. King moved to recommend to the city council <br />approval of a minor subdivision for Roger and Sylvia Kolstad <br />creating two parcels measuring 220 x 495 feet and 400 feet by <br />495 feet, Application #90 -25. John Bergeson seconded the <br />motion and the motion was approved unanimously. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION APPLICATION #90 -32 AND CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT, APPLICATION #90 -33 FOR DIANE SCHILLING. <br />MOTION: John Bergeson moved to table this item. The <br />applicant had not yet arrived to the meeting. Mr. King <br />seconded the motion. <br />REVIEW OF A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR WILLOW PONDS, APPLICATION <br />#90 -34, DENNIS ERICKSON /STEVE JOHNSTON FROM MERILA & <br />ASSOCIATES. <br />This is a single - family residential subdivision for the 13.5 <br />acre parcel north of Elm Street and west of the catholic <br />church in west Lino Lakes. It's best known as the site of <br />the proposed townhouse development that was denied by the <br />city council. <br />Presently Erickson is requesting approval of a 26 lot <br />subdivision with two cul -de -sacs coming north from Lakeview <br />Drive and Sunrise Drive. A third cul -de -sac would be located <br />midway between the extensions of Lakeview and Sunrise. <br />Erickson is scheduled to meet with the park board on July <br />16th. He is offering a cash payment of $400.00 per lot. <br />John Miller recommended that due to the fact that the homes <br />would be located adjacent to the freeway, a six foot berm <br />should be constructed to buffer the homes. <br />Steve Johnston from Merila & Associates addressed comments <br />Page 3 <br />1 <br />
