1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br />January 9, 1991 <br />because of the improved aesthetics. <br />The Hill's would not be responsible for paying utility assessments <br />until they wish to be hooked up to utilities. <br />MOTION: Monika Slatten moved to recommend to the city council <br />approval of the single - family phase of the preliminary plat for <br />Wenzel Farms, Application #90 -68 contingent upon the following: <br />1. The applicant revise the street layout moving the <br />entrance of each north and south street 15 feet to the <br />east. The Hill's would purchase a total of 35 feet from <br />the applicant. The streets should have a curvilinear <br />design. <br />2. Incorporating the comments by the city engineer. <br />3. Park Board approval. <br />4. The townhomes will be shown as Block 6 on the final plat. <br />The townhomes will be handled as a separate issue, along <br />with rezoning. <br />John Bergeson seconded the motion and the motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />The townhomes will be a February design review board agenda item. <br />CONSIDERATION OF A MINOR SUBDIVISION AND VARIANCE FOR MARLIN <br />HANSEN, APPLICATION #90 -15 AND #90 -65. <br />At the board's December 12th meeting these applications were tabled <br />to permit Mr. Hansen time to revise the certificate of survey. <br />Here is an excerpt from the December 12th minutes: <br />Bob Adamson stated that this minor subdivision is in <br />conjunction with Oak Brook Peninsula. He needs to purchase <br />the land from Hansen for the roadway to the plat. Remnants of <br />his land would also be a part of a park association. He is <br />requesting to purchase a 2 1/2 acre parcel. <br />John Miller requested this item be tabled so that a <br />certificate of survey explaining the minor subdivision can be <br />given to the board members to better explain the issue. <br />MOTION: John Bergeson moved to table this item due to <br />unanswered questions. Mr. King seconded the motion and the <br />motion was approved unanimously. <br />4 <br />
