Mr. McDonald said, No, and Mr. Pllkleson added that <br />if there was interference, then the company would be required to <br />screen it out. This is according to FCC rules. <br />Mr. Karth asked if there would be a fence around the tower and <br />cables. Mr. McDonald said there would be an ei g;it foot chain link <br />fence .sound the area, also, the lower bolts would be removed <br />from the tower to a height of 20 or 30 feet. <br />Mr. Hill asked about the welding. Was it done on the site or is <br />it shop welded? Mr. McDonald said the welding is done in a shop <br />and he is not sure of what kind of inspection is done or required. <br />This is one thing the Board would require -a report on the type of <br />inspection done on the welding. <br />Mr. McDonald said that the FAA specifications for the Ainneapolis <br />are a wind load of 30;'-` per /square inch to withstand an 80 mi le <br />an hour wind. This tower would be built to with a wind load of <br />40# per /square inch to withstand a 100 MPH wind. The specs for <br />the tower exceeds the FAA requirements. <br />Mr. Ke l t i ng moved to continua this hearing to the May 16, 1973 <br />meeting in order to have adequate information. Seconded by Mr. <br />Karth. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Ron ?!i I l iams appeared to request the erection of modular home <br />models on property located in front of the Acton Construction <br />buildings. There was also a lack of information submitted with <br />this request. Also, since Hr. i"1i li iams will only be leasing this <br />iand, the Board felt that Mr. Paul Mi Iler, the owner, should be <br />present at the hearing. There was discussion on these homes - <br />they will be set up on cement pillars and wi l l have no utilities , <br />except power. The office will have a private utility stystem. <br />There were questions as to the ingress and egress of the lo- <br />cation with the Board suggesting that he divide the narking area <br />from the street. The surfacing of the parking was discussed. <br />Mr. Wi I l iams had considered limestone for a covering but Mr. <br />McLean said that the Board has been requiring blacktop on parking <br />areas. <br />Mr. Hill questioned the construction of these homes and was told <br />that they are very well constructed, they are delivered in two <br />sections and put together at the site -they have all the appliances <br />built in; carpetinci, draperies, these are included in the price <br />
