Motion carried. <br />The Board also requested that Mr. Paul Mi I l er appear at that hearing. <br />Mr. Dielentheis appeared for U.S. Lakes Development with sign <br />permit ap1ications to erect temporary signs directing prospective <br />buyers to the Chomon i x Development, now known as "Country Lake". <br />These signs are to be located on the Arthur Hawkins property on <br />Co. Rd. "J" and Centerville Road at the intersection of .Birch <br />Street. <br />There is a sign on Centerville Road at the present tire that there <br />is some question about. This must be cleared up before any action <br />can be taken on this application. <br />There was much discussion on whether these applications were for <br />temporary signs or permanent signs. Mr. Dielentheis said his <br />understanding of the code would make these temporary signs, Mr. <br />McLean was under the impression that they would be permanent <br />signs. The Clerk was asked to contact Or. Locher for a ruling <br />on this. <br />Mr. Karth moved to recommend to the Council the issuance of a <br />sign permit to U.S. Lakes Development for e sign to be erected <br />10' east of the micro wave tower fence and 10' north of the <br />right -of -way 1 irie on Co. Rd "J" per specs i n app 1 i cation. <br />Seconded by Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Dielentheis asked if the Board would not recommend approval <br />of the second sign subject to Mr. Locher interpretation of the <br />sign ordinance and removal of the existing sign. Seconded by <br />Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. <br />The Board considered the two applicants to serve as planning <br />consultant for the Vi Ilage. Mr. McLean went through the final <br />letters received from the applicants. After review and discussion, <br />Mr. McLean moved to recommend to the Counci I the hiring of Mr. <br />Lee Starr of Beckman Yorer, and Seay, Inc. with Mr. Starr to <br />start immediately. Seconded by Mr. Hi II. Motion carried. <br />
