Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />top edge approximately 1.00 inch below the top of the front bumper, and shall be affixed without holes <br />and fasteners. <br />TRIM LOWER SIDE FRONT <br />A stainless steel trim band, 10.00 inches high, with upper and lower black and chrome trim moldings, <br />shall be installed on the lower exterior sides of the cab between the front bumper and the front doors. The <br />trim shall be installed so that the top edge is approximately 1.00 inch below the top of the front bumper, <br />and shall be affixed without holes and fasteners. <br />TRIM REAR WALL EXTERIOR <br />The exterior rear wall of the cab shall include an overlay of 3003-H22 aluminum tread plate which shall <br />be 0.07 inches thick. This overlay shall cover the entire rear wall of the cab. <br />CAB FENDER <br />Full width wheel well liners shall be installed on the extruded cab to limit road splash and enable easier <br />cleaning. Each two-piece liner shall consist of an inner liner 16.00 inches wide made of vacuum formed <br />ABS composite and an outer fenderette 5.00 inches wide made of SAE 304 polished stainless steel. <br />MUD FLAPS FRONT <br />The front wheel wells shall have mud flaps installed on them. <br />CAB EXTERIOR FRONT & SIDE EMBLEMS <br />The cab shall include three (3) Spartan emblems. There shall be one (1) installed on the front air intake <br />grille and one (1) emblem on each of the cab sides. <br />IGNITION <br />A master battery system with a keyless start ignition system shall be provided. Each system shall be <br />controlled by a one -quarter turn Cole Hersee switch, both of which shall be mounted to the left of the <br />steering wheel on the dash. A chrome push type starter button shall be provided adjacent to the master <br />battery and ignition switches. <br />Each switch shall illuminate a green LED indicator light on the dash when the respective switch is placed <br />in the "ON" position. <br />The starter button shall only operate when both the master battery and ignition switches are in the "ON" <br />position. <br />BATTERY <br />The single start electrical system shall include six (6) Napa 7236 batteries with a 175 minute reserve <br />capacity and 4/0 welding type dual path starter cables per SAE J541. <br />BATTERY TRAY <br />The batteries shall be installed within two (2) steel battery trays located on the left side and right side of <br />the chassis, securely bolted to the frame rails.
