Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. All discharge outlet and suction inlet holes are to be concentric/custom-fit around extension fittings. Trims rings shall not be acceptable INTERIOR TOP MOUNT CONTROL PANEL INTERIOR PUMP CONTROL CONSOLE The pump controls shall be operated from within the center rear of custom chassis cab interior. A top -mount pump control console shall be furnished, located above and integral with the forward portion of the midship mounted fire pump module, extending into and underside of the custom cab "bustle". Console to be above midship mounted fire pump, approximately 64" side -to -side width, extending full depth (front -to -rear) of bustle. Control panel's width shall allow for adequate space, beneath the cab bustle, to spread -out the pump's controls for ease of operation of the same. Pump control console lower plane shall slope down towards operator's standing position. The instrument panel is to be located above and to the rear of pump control console. The upper back plane of the pump control panel shall accommodate the specified "opening" instrument panel, and lower forward plane shall be stationary so as to facilitate installation of the specified master drain valve and manual pump controls. The chassis cab extension, overhead the pump enclosure is to have hollow core weatherproof boot(s) between the cab structure and pump module. The boot is to be removable/replaceable PUMP CONTROLS AND LINKAGES All specified pump discharge and suction controls are to be mounted on the top -mount pump control console, so as to permit operation of the pump from one central location. All specified manual push-pull discharge and/or suction controls shall be chrome plated, straight -in -line pull, with locking hand grips. All discharge valve and suction valve mechanical pump control rods to be heavily cadmium plated solid cold rolled steel, equipped with adjustable clevis joints or swivel ball joints. All discharge valve manual push-pull "locking" style control handles shall be evenly spaced on the same horizontal line, immediately below and in -line with their respective discharge pressure gauge/instrument. Where specified, remote gated pump suction control switches, and "open" indicator lights, shall be prominently grouped together on pump control console, for ease of identification, equipped with permanently engraved nameplates recessed into a single piece polished stainless steel surround bezel.
