Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Eight (8) sets of Laser cut vertically slotted bolt -on "low profile" shelf tracks are to be furnished, <br />mounted two (2) on forward and two (2) on rearward interior side walls of the designated apparatus body <br />side compartments. Tracks are to be designed to accommodate spring -loaded threaded cleats allowing for <br />infinite vertical adjustment of the optionally specified horizontal compartment shelves, NOTE: Cleats <br />are to be provided, only with the optionally specified shelves, four (4) each per shelf. <br />Shelf tracks are to be fabricated of .125" smooth aluminum with a finish matching that of the shelves and <br />trays, and their design must allow for the shelving width to match the compartment clear opening width. <br />COMPARTMENTATION, FOUR (4) EACH: DRIVER SIDE <br />DI: The driver's front side compartment segment (ahead of forward center compartment) shall be _" <br />interior width x _" interior height x _" upper level interior depth, _" lower level interior depth. <br />Compartment segment to be fully enclosed and weather sealed, equipped with one (1) roll -up <br />compartment door, size of _" wide x _" high, (clear opening size of _" wide x _" high). <br />D2: The driver's side forward over -the -wheels upper level compartment segment, adjacent to the <br />specified ladder rack, shall be _" interior width x _" interior height x _" interior depth. Compartment <br />to be fully enclosed and weather sealed, equipped with one (1) roll -up compartment door, size of <br />wide x _" high, (clear opening size of _" wide x _" high). <br />D3: The driver's side rearward over -the -wheels upper level compartment segment, adjacent to the <br />specified ladder rack, shall be _" interior width x _" interior height x _" interior depth. Compartment <br />to be fully enclosed and weather sealed, equipped with one (1) roll -up compartment door, size of 56" <br />wide x _" high, (clear opening size of _" wide x _" high). <br />D4: The driver's rear side compartment segment shall be _" interior width x _" interior height x _" <br />upper level interior depth, _" lower level interior depth. Compartment segment to be fully enclosed and <br />weather sealed, equipped with one (1) roll -up compartment door, size of _" wide x _" high, (clear <br />opening size of _" wide x _" high). <br />DROP -DOWN EQUIPMENT RACK WITH ALUMINUM TREADPLATE BOX HOUSING <br />A hydraulically operated "drop -down' equipment rack shall be furnished, consisting of a single vertical <br />truss frame with parallel heavy wall tubular structures, and a matching horizontal tubular platform. For <br />additional strength and stability, tubular gusset style stabilizers shall extend between the vertical truss <br />frame and the horizontal platform. The entire equipment rack structure shall be painted job color. <br />The platform, when in the "up" (road travel) position, the horizontal platform shall nest overhead the <br />apparatus body, immediately above the full height side compartments. The platform is to provide the <br />mounting surface for the following specified equipment rack mounted accessories. <br />The vertical truss frame and support gussets, shall recess into a vertical cavity located in the apparatus <br />body's midsection above the rear wheelwell housing.
