Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. The box enclosure shall be bolted to and removable from the equipment rack platform, designed "fold -out" storage of the optionally specified portable folding water tank. The interior of the box enclosure shall be equipped with: a full length x full width fabricated matching aluminum treadplate hinged "fold -out" folding tank bracket. The fold -out bracket treadplate pattern is to be away from the folding tank, so that the tank liner rests on smooth aluminum surface. Two chrome grab handles are to be provided on the tank bracket, to allow convenient grasp of the bracket when rotating the folding tank back into the box enclosure. COMPARTMENTATION, FOUR (4) EACH: PASSENGER SIDE P1: The passenger's front side compartment segment (ahead of forward center compartment) shall be _" interior width x _" interior height x _" upper level interior depth, _" lower level interior depth. Compartment segment to be fully enclosed and weather sealed, equipped with one (1) roll -up compartment door, size of _" wide x _" high, (clear opening size of _" wide x _" high). P4: The passenger's rear side compartment segment shall be _" interior width x _" interior height x _" upper level interior depth, _" lower level interior depth. DROP -DOWN EQUIPMENT RACK, STACKED EXTENSION AND ROOF LADDERS A hydraulically operated overhead ladder storage rack is to be furnished, with tubular platform located horizontally overhead the passenger side full height compartments, and with a drop -down vertical truss frame actuator assembly fully recessed into a cavity located above the passenger's side wheelwell. For additional strength and stability, tubular gusset style stabilizers shall extend between the vertical truss frame and the horizontal platform. The entire equipment rack structure shall be painted job color. Ladder rack is to be of the "center -post" design, eliminating the need for front and rear compartment corner mounted parallel stabilizer bars. Hydraulic rack and truss frame assembly are to be fabricated of rectangular steel tubing equipped with: precision machined rotation bearings with grease zerks, 12-volt electric motor drive hydraulic power pack, extra heavy duty telescoping hydraulic cylinder, parallel flat bar scissors actuator with machined 07/26/22 - 116 -
