A wiring harness shall be supplied ending at the back of the cab. The harness shall include a connector <br />which shall allow an optional harness for the pump panel. The included circuits shall be provided for a <br />tachometer, oil pressure, engine temperature, hand throttle, high idle and a PSG system. A circuit for <br />J1939 data link shall also be provided at the back of the cab. <br />CAB ENGINE TUNNEL <br />The cab interior shall include an integrated engine tunnel constructed of 5052-1132 Marine Grade 0.19 of <br />an inch thick aluminum alloy plate. The side walls shall be tapered from the top of the seatbox to an <br />angle of 22.00 degrees from vertical. The tapered tunnel will provide 3.00 inches of additional inboard <br />hip room for both the driver and officer seating positions. The rear of the tunnel shall be shortened to <br />provide 2.00 inches of additional crew space behind the tunnel. <br />DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER CONTROLS <br />There shall be two (2) controls for the diesel particulate filter. One (1) control shall be for regeneration <br />and one (1) control shall be for regeneration inhibit. The controls shall be located on the digital dash <br />display. <br />ENGINE PROGRAMMING HIGH IDLE SPEED <br />The engine high idle control shall maintain the engine idle at approximately 1250 RPM when engaged. <br />ENGINE HIGH IDLE CONTROL <br />The vehicle shall be equipped with a virtual Vista button and an automatic high -idle speed control. It <br />shall be pre-set so when activated, it will operate the engine at the appropriate RPM to increase <br />alternator output. This device shall operate only when the engine is running and the transmission is in <br />neutral with the parking brake set. The device shall disengage when the operator depresses the brake <br />pedal, or the transmission is placed in gear, and shall be available to manually or automatically <br />re-engage when the brake is released, or when the transmission is placed in neutral. There shall be an <br />indicator on the Vista display and control screen for the high idle speed control. <br />ENGINE PROGRAMMING ROAD SPEED GOVERNOR <br />The engine shall include programming which will govern the top speed of the vehicle. <br />AUXILIARY ENGINE BRAKE <br />A compression brake, for the six (6) cylinder engine shall be provided. A cutout relay shall be installed <br />to disable the compression brake when in pump mode or when an ABS event occurs. The engine <br />compression brake shall activate upon 0% accelerator when in operation mode and actuate the vehicle's <br />brake lights. <br />The engine shall utilize a variable geometry turbo (VGT) as an integrated auxiliary engine brake to offer <br />a variable rate of exhaust flow, which when activated in conjunction with the compression brake shall <br />enhance the engine's compression braking capabilities. <br />AUXILIARY ENGINE BRAKE CONTROL <br />An engine compression brake control device shall be included. The electronic control device shall <br />monitor various conditions and shall activate the engine brake only if all of the following conditions are <br />simultaneously detected: <br />• A valid gear ratio is detected. <br />• The driver has requested or enabled engine compression brake operation. <br />• The throttle is at a minimum engine speed position. <br />
