Ursinio brings <br />a detail -oriented attitude to the team that was gained through research -based work <br />while in graduate school. Ursinio has extensive experience in a wide variety of pilot - <br />scale projects ranging from biological water filtration to UV disinfection of wastewater. <br />He is also skilled in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure planning and design, <br />bidding and construction services, hydraulic water and sanitary sewer system modeling, <br />and wastewater treatment modeling. <br />Biological Retrofit Feasibility Study I Baxter, MN <br />CLIENT: CITY OF BAXTER <br />PROJECT DURATION: SEP 2019 - JAN 2020 <br />Ursinio served as a project engineer to study the feasibility of a water treatment plant retrofit <br />project at the City of Baxter. This project included the completion of a pilot study, an analysis of <br />the historical water demands and a projection of the water demands through the planning period, <br />an energy consumption evaluation of the existing facility, a projection of the 20-year operational <br />savings generated by the proposed treatment changes, and a preliminary engineering design of the <br />proposed facility upgrades. <br />Monticello Water Treatment Feasibility Study I Monticello MN <br />CLIENT: CITY OF MONTICELLO, MN <br />PROJECT DURATION: AUG 2020 - ONGOING <br />Ursinio is preparing a feasibility study to evaluate water supply and treatment options for the removal <br />of manganese, iron and hardness from the City's groundwater. Gravity filtration (conventional and <br />biological) and lime softening are being considered for treatment. As part of this study, Ursinio is <br />preparing a financial analysis (funding, construction costs, and water rate changes) for each of the <br />preferred treatment methods. <br />Biological Filtration Feasibility Study I City of Baxter, MN <br />ULILNis CITY OF BAXTER <br />PROJECT DURATION: SEP 2019 - JAN 2020 <br />Ursinio served as a project engineer to study the feasibility of a water treatment plant retrofit project <br />at the City of Baxter.
