CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.22-134 <br />RESOLUTION SUBMITTING A LIST OF ELIGIBLE NOMINEES TO ANOKA <br />COUNTY FOR THE OPEN MANAGER POSITION ON THE RICE CREEK <br />WATERSHED DISTRICT BOARD OF MANAGERS <br />WHEREAS, the City received notice of an opening on the Rice Creek Watershed District Board <br />of Managers; and <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County notified the City they can submit a list of nominations to the Anoka <br />County Board of Commissioners per Minnesota Statute 103D.311; and <br />WHEREAS, the cities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Lino <br />Lakes, Lexington, and Spring Lake Park wish to have representation on the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District Board of Managers; and <br />WHEREAS, listed below the City of Lino Lakes nominates the following individual to the <br />Anoka County Board of Commissioners to consider; and <br />Scott Robinson, 8179 4f' Avenue, Lino Lakes, MN <br />WHEREAS, the nominee shall join the Jointly Submitted List from the cities of Blaine, <br />Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Lino Lakes, Lexington and Spring Lake <br />Park; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />does hereby submit a list of names for consideration by the Anoka County Board of <br />Commissioners per Minnesota Statute 103D.311 at least 60 days before the expiration of the <br />term of the board managers' term who expires on January 17, 2023. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14" day of November 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />and was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
