Following the competitive process, staff <br />recommended appointing Ehlers as the City’s Municipal Advisor. <br />Councilmember Stoesz inquired of an end date of the new contract? Director Lynch indicated <br />she is not yet aware of the end date but such contracts typically have a life of three-to-five <br />years. <br />Councilembmer Lyden of Ehlers work with other cities within Anoka Count y. Director <br />Lynch advised that during the interview process, Ehlers highlighted that they work with 15 <br />out of 20 cities in Anoka County. <br /> <br />i. Motion To: Approve Resolution 23-75, Appointment of a Municipal Advisor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3. ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />A. Consider Resolution No. 23-72, Approving a Joint Powers Agreement between the <br />City of Lino Lakes and Anoka County for Assessment of Property <br />City Administrator Sarah Cotton presented a resolution to ap prove a Joint Powers Agreement <br />(JPA) with Anoka County for continued assessment services. She stated that the current JPA <br />is coming to an end and that city staff values the services provided by Anoka County for <br />assessment; thus, approving the resolution to approve the JPA is recommended. <br />Mayor Rafferty commented that his experience and reports he receives from residents <br />indicates that Anoka County staff work hard to respond and answer questions of residents. <br />He also noted an appreicat ion for the level of separation <br /> <br />i.
