CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23-129 <br /> <br />Approving Issuance of a Tobacco License to Lino Lake Property Inc, DBA Corner Express <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes requires all businesses wishing to sell tobacco and <br />tobacco-related products to apply on a city-approved application form for a Tobacco License; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lino Lake Property, Inc., future owner of Corner Express effective January 2, <br />2024, has applied to obtain a Tobacco License; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the license that was previously issued to the store located at 7997 Lake Drive <br />will no longer be valid in effect after the sale of the business at that location; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff, including Public Safety, has reviewed the application and background <br />investigation materials and has found that the applicant meets local licensing requirements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota: <br /> <br />The City of Lino Lakes hereby approves the issuance of a Tobacco License to Lino Lake Property <br />Inc., DBA Corner Express, located at 7997 Lake Drive, effective January 2, 2024 through June 30, <br />2023 unless cancelled or revoked before that date. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of December, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />___________________________ <br />Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />128
