1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6A <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee PE, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: June 11, 2018 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution 18-69, Approving Grading and Trunk Utility <br />Agreement, Watermark <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting Council consideration to approve the Grading and Trunk Utility Agreement <br />for the Watermark development. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Watermark PUD Development Stage Plan/Preliminary Plat was approved by Council on <br />June 13, 2016. The developer has submitted for a Grading and Trunk Utility Agreement for the <br />first phase of grading for the Watermark development. Staff has reviewed and approved the <br />Grading and Trunk Utility construction plans. <br /> <br />A Grading and Trunk Utility Agreement was prepared including the fees and securities to cover <br />City review costs and ensure completion of the public and private improvements in accordance <br />with the approved plans. The Agreement includes a special provision that if grades need to <br />change due to changes in the master plan or final plat, it will be the sole responsibility of the <br />Developer to re-grade the site at its own cost. <br /> <br />The Watermark First Addition Final Plat has been submitted to the City and it is anticipated that <br />it will be presented to Council in August of 2018. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 18-69 for the Watermark Grading and Trunk <br />Utility Agreement. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
