2018-2019 LABOR AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN CITY OF LINO LAKES AND AFSCME LOCAL 2454 <br />LAST, BEST, FINAL OFFER FROM EMPLOYER <br />05-07-2018 <br /> <br />Article 4: Hours of Work <br />4.3 Change to read: <br />All employees work schedules shall provide for at least one 15-minute rest period during each <br />one-half shift. Employees scheduled to work an 8-hour day may, with supervisor approval, <br />combine their paid rest periods and unpaid lunch break at or near the mid-point of their <br />scheduled shift. The rest period shall be scheduled at the middle of each one-half shift, whenever <br />possible. Employees who are authorized to work beyond their regular quitting timeschedule shall <br />receive a rest period if one is necessary due to length of overtime authorization.. TA: 11-27-17 <br /> <br />Article 10: Miscellaneous Leaves <br />10.1 Add to funeral leave: Three days for the death of a mother-in-law or father-in-law. <br />TA: 11-27-17 <br /> <br />Article 11: Wages <br />11.9 Remove in its entirety. <br />For the purposes of step/ wage increases, all members of this group hired after January 1, 2006, <br />shall have as their anniversary date, the date they were hired. Employees hired prior to January <br />1, 2006, will have an anniversary date of January 1 until they reach the top of their wage scale. <br />TA: 11-27-2017 <br /> <br />Article 13: Grievance Procedures <br />13.4 Add at the end of first statement: “. . . unless by mutual agreement the Employer and the <br />Union agree to a higher step.” TA: 12-7-17 <br /> <br />Article 14: Seniority <br />14.4 Probationary periods: 3. Promoted employees will serve a three monthsix-month <br />probationary period with a review after three months. TA: 12-7-17 <br /> <br />Article 16: Insurance <br />16.1 50/50 split on premium increases; no change to HSA contribution <br />16.6 Move to Article 9, new Section 9.3: <br />The employee agrees to establish a Post-Retirement Health Saving Account for eligible <br />employees. The Employer will forward 100% of the eligible sick leave severance upon <br />termination of employment to the plan administrator. TA: 11-27-17 <br /> <br />Article 22: Duration – Two years <br /> <br />Appendix A: Wage Schedule <br />1) List exempt positions alphabetically as annual salary amounts. TA: 11-27-17 <br />2) List non-exempt positions alphabetically as hourly amount. TA: 11-27-17 <br />3) 2018: 2.75% ATB wage increase <br />4) 2019: 2.50% ATB wage increase
