7 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The trees planned for removal are in the Basic Use Area and will not require mitigation trees to <br />be planted. An ash tree planned for removal is outside of the Basic Use Area but will not <br />require mitigation due to the prevalence of Emerald ash borer in the area. There are 7 other <br />infested ash trees that must be removed from the property as well. <br /> <br />The trees planned for preservation on the west perimeter must have Tree Protection Zones <br />installed in accordance with the City Tree Protection Fence Detail. This is noted on the Grading, <br />Drainage, and Erosion Control Plan (Sheet C1.1). The same note must be added to the <br />Landscape Plan (Sheet L1) in place of landscaping note #3. <br /> <br />Tree Preservation and Mitigation Standards have been met. <br /> <br />Open Areas Landscape Standards <br /> <br />Open areas standards do not apply to single family residential lots. <br /> <br />Buffer and Screen Standards <br /> <br />The purpose of this requirement is to separate and buffer different land use types, screen roads <br />and parking, and screen utility and loading areas. <br /> <br />A 6-foot buffer and screen will be required for the east perimeter abutting Hodgson Road. This <br />screen can be trees, shrubs, a fence, or some combination of these as described in City Code <br />Section 1007.049 (6)(b). <br /> <br />Buffer and screen standards have not been met. <br /> <br />Canopy Cover <br /> <br />Canopy cover standards to not apply to single family residential development. <br /> <br />Foundation Landscaping <br /> <br />Foundation landscaping standards do not apply to single family residential development. <br /> <br />Sod and Ground Cover Standards <br /> <br />Total Trees 45 <br />Total Trees Removed 7 <br />Total Trees Preserved 38 <br />Mitigation Trees Required 0 <br />281
