24-30671 ASH STREET TRAFFIC IMPACT STUDY - LINO LAKES, MN <br />Density Residential, and Signature Gateway District per the City of Lino Lakes Future Land Use Map from the 2040 Comprehensive <br />Plan. The Existing Zoning and Future Land Use maps are provided in Appendix E. <br />Area Roadway System <br />Through the study area: <br />• CSAH J/Ash Street functionally classified as a minor arterial <br />• CSAH 21/Centerville Road classified as a minor arterial <br />• CSAH 32/Ash Street classified as a minor arterial <br />• Monarch Way classified as a local street <br />• Rapp Farm Blvd classified as a local street <br />• Holly Drive N classified as a minor collector <br />• Wilkinson Lake Blvd classified as a local street <br />ROADWAY GEOMETRY <br />Through the study area, Centerville Road also known as CSAH 21, is a north -south highway with a posted speed limit of 50 MPH. <br />The typical roadway section is a two-lane undivided roadway with a northbound right -turn lane at the intersection with CSAH J/Ash <br />Street. It is an asphalt roadway with 7-foot right shoulders and 9-foot left shoulders, and no sidewalk. The existing paved shoulders <br />are suitable bicycle accommodations as they meet the minimum required width of 8' for this roadway per MnDOT's Bicycle Facility <br />Design Manual. <br />Within the study area, Ash Street also known as CSAH J, is an east -west street with a posted speed limit of 40 MPH. The typical <br />roadway section consists of a two-lane undivided roadway with a westbound right -turn lane at the intersection with CSAH <br />21/Centerville Road. It is an asphalt roadway with 8-foot shoulders on both sides, and no sidewalk. The existing paved shoulders <br />are suitable bicycle accommodations as they meetthe minimum required width of 8' forthis roadway per MnDOT's Bicycle Facility <br />Design Manual. Ash Street, also known as CSAH 32, is an east -west street with a posted speed limit of 45 MPH. Similarly CSAH <br />J/Ash Street, has a typical roadway section and a two-lane undivided asphalt roadway with 5-foot shoulders on both sides, without <br />sidewalks or bicycle accommodations. <br />Wilkinson Lake Blvd is the west approach on the intersection of CSAH J/Ash Street and CSAH 21/Centerville Road, Wilkinson Lake <br />Blvd is an east -west street local street that continues the CSAH J segment through the city. The typical roadway section consists <br />of a divided two-lane roadway with variations on the median widths along the segment. It is an asphalt roadway with gutters on <br />both sides, but no sidewalk or bicycle accommodations. <br />Within the study area, Monarch Way is a north -south asphalt roadway with a typical roadwaysection of two-lane undivided roadway <br />with curb and gutter. It serves the residential area south of the development with no sidewalk or bicycle accommodations. <br />Rapp Farm Blvd is a north -south asphalt roadway serving the residential area south of the development. The typical roadway <br />section consists of two-lane undivided roadway with curb and gutter. At the intersection with CSAH J/Ash Street, Rapp Farm Blvd <br />is divided by 17-foot wide median.
