Planning & Zoning Board April 9, 2025 Page 4 Mr. Root opened the public hearing at 7:57p.m. Carol Featherstone, 631 Andall Street, wasopposed to the road connection to the new development. Ms. Featherstone would prefer a walking path to be constructed and believes safety of the residentsis not a priority. Shelly Donahue, 8204 Woodduck Trail, spoke about the safety of the roads in the area. Ms. Donahue would befine if the road was constructed and used for public safetyonly. Ms. Donahue does not feel the need to be connected to a new neighborhood. Kerry Bogenreif, 455 Andall Street, would implore the Board to go walk through the neighborhood and see the number of people who walk in the neighborhood. Ms. Bogenreif wasalso concerned about the loss of trees. Eric Maxwell, 431 Andall Street, had concerns about the older roads in the area. Construction traffic and the future homes in the development will create further issues for the roads. Mr. Maxwell was also concernedabout sewer and water coming in. Lou Jungbauer, 679 Andall Street, is concerned about taking down the trees and the light pollution brought in by the new development. Mr. Jungbauer was concerned about the safety in the neighborhood and concerns for the school in the area. Mr. Jungbauer would like to know who does the traffic studies and who can be questioned regarding these studies. Jason Donahue, 8204 Woodduck Trail, would like a better understanding of who wants the road access to Andall Street. Mr. Donahue believes those who want the road connection do not understand the area and was curious to know who is paying for the new road construction. Mr. Donahue also had concerns about the size of the lots in this new development. Ms. Guthmueller moved to close the public hearing. Motion seconded by Mr. Vojtech. The public hearing was closed at 8:15 p.m. Mr. Root addressed the street connection concerns. Ms. Hankee provided answers to where the requirement for a road came from. Eric Seiberlich, WSB, was in attendance to address concerns regarding the road connection with Andall Street.
