Planning & Zoning Board <br />April 9, 2025 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Mr. Root opened the public hearing at 7:57p.m. <br />Carol Featherstone, 631 Andall Street, wasopposed to the road connection to the new <br />development. Ms. Featherstone would prefer a walking path to be constructed and <br />believes safety of the residentsis not a priority. <br /> <br />Shelly Donahue, 8204 Woodduck Trail, spoke about the safety of the roads in the area. <br />Ms. Donahue would befine if the road was constructed and used for public safetyonly. <br />Ms. Donahue does not feel the need to be connected to a new neighborhood. <br /> <br />Kerry Bogenreif, 455 Andall Street, would implore the Board to go walk through the <br />neighborhood and see the number of people who walk in the neighborhood. Ms. <br />Bogenreif wasalso concerned about the loss of trees. <br /> <br />Eric Maxwell, 431 Andall Street, had concerns about the older roads in the area. <br />Construction traffic and the future homes in the development will create further issues <br />for the roads. Mr. Maxwell was also concernedabout sewer and water coming in. <br /> <br />Lou Jungbauer, 679 Andall Street, is concerned about taking down the trees and the <br />light pollution brought in by the new development. Mr. Jungbauer was concerned about <br />the safety in the neighborhood and concerns for the school in the area. Mr. Jungbauer <br />would like to know who does the traffic studies and who can be questioned regarding <br />these studies. <br /> <br />Jason Donahue, 8204 Woodduck Trail, would like a better understanding of who wants <br />the road access to Andall Street. Mr. Donahue believes those who want the road <br />connection do not understand the area and was curious to know who is paying for the <br />new road construction. Mr. Donahue also had concerns about the size of the lots in this <br />new development. <br /> <br />Ms. Guthmueller moved to close the public hearing. Motion seconded by Mr. Vojtech. <br />The public hearing was closed at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Root addressed the street connection concerns. Ms. Hankee provided answers to <br />where the requirement for a road came from. <br /> <br />Eric Seiberlich, WSB, was in attendance to address concerns regarding the road <br />connection with Andall Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
