Receive Shenandoah Feasibility Report June 13, 2005 <br />C. Hold Neighborhood Meetings June /July <br />D. Call Public Hearing June 13, 2005 <br />E. Public Hearing July 11, 2005 <br />F. Petitioning Process <br />• Within 60 days after close of public hearing, the following petitions can be filed: <br />(July 11th to September 10th = 60 Days) <br />- A petition against improvement by either majority of property owners <br />proposed to be assessed or if initiated by (1a) at least equal to number <br />petitioning for improvement under (1a). Council can not make improvement <br />at expense of benefited property owners. Council can not vote on same <br />improvement for one year from public hearing. <br />— If petition for improvement at least equal to (4ai), then Council can order <br />improvement. <br />G. Referendum Question at Council September 12, 2005 <br />• Must be submitted to Election Liaison by 5:00 p.m. September 13, 2005 <br />• Must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. September 15, 2005, to Anoka County <br />H. Election November 8, 2005 <br />• Must hold an election within 120 days after close of public hearing <br />(Note: July 11th to November 8th = 120 Days) <br />2 13371.000 <br />
