Chief Pecchia announces that National Night Out is August 2, 2005. Please join the citizens <br />of Lino Lakes in recognizing National Night Out. <br />PROCLAMATION <br />NATIONAL, NIGHT OUT 2005 <br />WHEREAS, the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) is sponsoring a unique, <br />nationwide crime, drug and violence prevention program on August 2nd, 2005 entitled <br />"National Night Out'; and <br />WHEREAS, the "22nd Annual National Night Out" provides a unique opportunity for the <br />City of Lino Lakes to join forces with thousands of other communities across the country <br />in promotion cooperative, police - community crime prevention efforts; and <br />WHEREAS, it is essential that all citizens of the City of Lino Lakes be aware of the <br />importance of crime prevention programs and impact that their participation can have on <br />reducing crime, drugs and violence in the City of Lino Lakes; and <br />WHEREAS, police- community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and <br />cooperation are important themes of the "National Night Out" program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, We, the Lino Lakes City Council, do hereby call upon all <br />citizens of the City of Lino Lakes to join the Lino lakes Police Department and the <br />National Association of Town Watch in supporting the "22' Annual National Night Out" <br />on August 2, 2005. <br />FURTHER, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT, We the Lino Lakes City Council do <br />hereby proclaim Tuesday, August 2, 2005 as "National Night Out" in the City of Lino <br />Lakes. <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />
