•
City of Lino Lakes — Surface Water Management Plan
1/10/11
4: GIS and Development of Figures / Maps
Task 4.1 — Develop General Maps and Figures for LSWMP
Description:
Develop all non - existing figures needed for the Local Surface Water Management Plan
and create two (2) large scale maps.
Deliverables:
• Figures and maps for the Local Surface Water Management Plan
• Two to Three typical Green Corridor cross sections
Assumptions:
• For cost estimating purposes it is assumed that there will be 10 general figures in the
final draft of the plan (this does not include the 2 larger scale maps of the stormwater
management plan and the Resource Management System Plan).
• The two (2) large -scale maps will be 24 -inch by 24 -inch maps as described above
• The City will provide FOR with all of the GIS layers that it has developed to date
including: parcels; storm sewers including force main, existing storm sewer, overland
drainage, proposed storm sewer, lift station, slcimmer, flared end, proposed outlet,
pipe sizes and elevation, etc.; city limits; major stormwater management districts;
stormwater management lakes /ponds /wetlands including names and I.D.; other
lakes /ponds /wetlands /streams /ditches including names and I.D.; Parks and Public
Facilities; Greenway System; Resource Management System Plan; Resource
Management Units; Aerial Photography; and Topography.
Cost Assumptions:
• 100 FOR staff hours
• $9,115
Task 4.2 — Develop Database with Proposed BMPs
Description:
Compile the city's data layers and organize into a GIS database with the number of and
types of existing and proposed BMPs within a designated area (e.g. on an RMU- by -RMU
basis). The development of this database will enable the City to:
• Reflect changes in its LSWMP as it generates or collects new information (adaptive
management)
• Update the number of BMPs as they are constructed
• Allow for mapping BMP types by area
• Allow for charting the different types of BMPs in the area
• Can be expanded as new BMPs are proposed
This database will also allow for the development of a larger scale map that displays the
stormwater management plan for the City as it relates to the RMUs and the Resource
Management System Plan.
Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc.
water 1 ecology 1 community
8
-99-
