Motion carried on a voice vote; Council Member Gallup absent. <br />135 <br />6A) Century Farm North: i) Second Reading of Ordinance No. 7 -11, amending the Planned <br />Unit Development Zoning and the PUD Development Stage Plan/Preliminary Plat; and ii) <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 06 -11, approving the vacation of a drainage and utility <br />easement — Community Development Director Grochala briefly reviewed the ordinances and noted <br />that they received approval of the first reading on March 14, 2011. He clarified that the proposed <br />amendments to the development plans will not add any units to the original plans nor change the area <br />of land for each of the dwelling units. <br />6B) Stormwater Ordinance: i) Second Reading of Ordinance No. 09 -11, adding Section 1011 <br />to the City Code, Regulating Construction Site Erosion & Sediment Control and Post <br />Construction Stormwater Management; ii) Resolution No. 11 -37, authorizing summary <br />publication of Ordinance No. 09 -11 — Environmental Coordinator Asleson and City Engineer <br />Studenski were present. Mr. Asleson explained that the Clean Water Act requires cities that operate a <br />storm water system to obtain a permit to do so and the permit system includes regulations to cities, <br />including a pollution discharge elimination system. The ordinance addresses some of those required <br />regulations and will establish compliance language.
