Sunset Date <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised attached to the Resolution establishing the Task <br />Force were the updated bylaws based on the discussion at the last City Council work session. He <br />noted the reference on the cover page to Article V, Section 5 should be corrected to Article III, <br />Section 5. <br />Community Development Director Grochala advised staff is recommending approval of Resolution <br />02 -03, establishing the Development Regulations Task Force and adopting the proposed bylaws in an <br />effort to insure the timely completion of the ordinance review process. <br />Councilmember Carlson asked if the Council would take formal action on the Board Members <br />appointed to serve on the Task Force. Community Development Director Grochala suggested that the <br />appointments be clarified during the first Task Force meeting on January 31, 2002. <br />Councilmember Carlson questioned whether a formal <br />appointments. Mayor Bergeson noted the Task Forcfz <br />the ordinances, therefore, he believed the Council cowl <br />first Task Force meeting. Community Development Director Grochala preferred a more informal <br />setting for the meetings. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked if minutes will be taken at the meetings. Community Development Director <br />Grochala stated reports will be generated after each meeting. <br />Councilmember Carlson asked if a voice recording would be made for future review if necessary. <br />Community Development Director Grochala had not anticipated voice tapes being made and <br />suggested that more formal minutes be taken at the meetings. <br />Co_uncilmember Reinert stated he supported minute taking at the Task Force meetings but not the <br />televising of the meetings. He felt having meetings televised tends to encourage show - boating and <br />grandstanding, which he hoped would be kept to a minimum. <br />Mayor Bergeson requested that the Task Force meeting dates be included on the Community <br />Calendar. <br />23 <br />
