2. CLEARWATER CREEK DEVELOPMENT CENTER <br />1999 REVIEW: Economic Development staff has worked closely with a new <br />development partnership to facilitate growth in the industrial park and <br />a concept plan is in place for high quality light industrial development. <br />PURPOSE: Continue to facilitate the development of quality commercial and <br />industrial growth in the Clearwater Creek Development Center. <br />TIME FRAME: 2000 <br />ASSIGNED TO: Community Development Director, Economic Development <br />Assistant, EDAC, city staff <br />STRATEGY: 1. Continue a productive working relationship with local <br />landowners and jointly market land to private light industrial and <br />commercial companies and developers. <br />2. Complete an analysis of local incentive potential and complete a <br />development agreement with the development partnership in the <br />industrial park. <br />PROJECTED RESULTS: <br />This program will allow the City to facilitate the orderly economic <br />development of the eastern "door" to Lino Lakes to enhance the <br />city's tax base. <br />4 <br />
